Moody Monday roll call
Where did the weekend go???
Weekend was good sinced the rain held off Saturday night till after our concert that kicked off summer. Little Big Town and Sugarland who rocked it as always.
Sunday I did some personal soul searching which was not easy at all and then went to meet some good friends for support and dinner. Came home watched Survivor and crashed in to bed to start all over again. Yet falling asleep listening to the rain was so relaxing.
Today has me in work then going home to work on some things that need to be taken care of but sometimes the hard things to do make us stronger.
Life is Good!
I had a really nice weekend. My ex took the kids for a few hours, which gave Bill and me some alone time. I always enjoy that. AA on Saturday was exciting. There was some drama in the room. I took my girls to see "Bridesmaids" last night. It was hilarious.
This morning was mood swinging! For the first time in over a year, I actually slept through the night! I hit my pillow at 11:30 pm and did not wake up, even once, until my alarm went off at 6:05 a.m. Wow. Weird, though, that I woke up feeling drowsy and like I could have used a couple more hours of sleep. My morning commute was pure hell. Took the bus to the train station; got there on time, but my train was late -- then changed to express, so it didn't stop at our stop. The next train that did stop had standing room only, so I had to stand all the way into work. My 35 minute commute was turned into 2 hours, and I was not a happy camper when I showed up to work 15 minutes late instead of 45 minutes early!
I'm feeling refreshed and good now, though. Pledging to stay sober and eat sanely today.

Lisa, I am watching your attention issue with interest. I have thought quite often that I may have always been ADD at some level....trouble finishing tasks for life, easily distracted, etc. And the truth is that the Internet has made it much worse!
But I also wonder about the role of stress and how it can manifest as attention issues. Heaven knows, my dear, that you deal with more than your share of THAT. I also wonder how much of my own issue is approach/avoidance type behavior, especially where my job is concerned. And I know beyond doubt that I am fighting a little bit of inertia and lazy habits that are getting in the way of me tackling some him projects I need to get done....en if doing them will lift a huge burden.
Anyway...just thinking out loud here.

Good Afternoon Lisa and PA!
It is now 1pm and this is my first chance all day to get to post! We are STILL testing, (just make ups, but still testing). I am so sick of it already!! I spent a good portion of the rest of the morning filling out my budget for next year which we were given on Thursday and it is due tomorrow! So that is done!!
This afternoon I will be working on the photo slide show for the eighth grade promotion. It is much more of a project than first thought. Oh well, I will need something to do with my time.
Wor****il 3:30 then stopping off for gas, then home for a bit. Pick up the girls, then figure out what to do for dinner sans hubby who will be helping a friend this evening....Probably putting away laundry then relaxation then bed. ANOTHER day of testing tomorrow, YIPPEE!!!! NOT!
Lisa, I hope Siehara feels better! Maybe a warm, moist heating pad might help??
Love to all, Beth
